Training
The training classes are open to all pedigree dogs, it is important to note this is not obedience training. This is a very different discipline to obedience. If you do not want to show, or just show at a very local level then you can still come along and socialise your dog and learn this discipline.

- How to present your dog
- How to go over your dog (for training at home)
- How to stand your dog
- How to behave with the judge
- To train the dog to run beside you showing off their conformation and movement
- To assist the skills of the handler on how to get the best from their dog
- Show Ring etiquette
- How to enter shows, and what to expect at shows
The committee are always on hand to offer advice for newcomers, the show world can be a daunting place for the first timers but it need not be. The dog show folk can be very supportive of newcomers into their breed and we are there to help you as much as we can along the journey.
